I actually did a shutdown and restart and tried FrontPage (98) with no
other applications running.

Got the same result.

Got that result whether trying to import or create a Web, even a "one
page Web".

When I try to open a web I get an error message saying it can't do so

What do I need to do to get this working?

Additional thanks will be given if you send a copy of your reply to

Just close out of FrontPage, both on the server side as well as the local

It doesn't seem to last.

Not sure why, unless you have attempted to open something twice.
