.jpg and .jpeg

I'm using MS FP, Paint Shop Pro and Win 98.

When I save PSP files as a .jpeg, in the left preview screen on My
Documents - they are sharp.

However, when the *same* photo is saved as .jpg - they are blurry in My
Documents.

How can I fix this?
