    Macromedia Flash can do what I want, but I wanted something free and simple
    to implement. Maybe JavaScript. To replace a mediocre MIDI sound file, I
    would love a compressed audio file of music with singing to play repeatedly.
    However, I don't want to expose a player or its controls. That is the beauty
    of MID files, they plays seamlessly in the background. I also don't want
    Realplayer or Quicktime, if they can even play in the background.

    Is Flash the best way?
