I have hoped to create someway to let this user administer the site... A
page or two was my goal. Is there something I am missing that an "Admin
Page" could offer that a normal upload page does not?

Is there a way to allow a website user to upload a database file to a
website?
I know I can create pages to upload other files to the site using FP, but
I have need to allow a client to copy their database file up to a website
on a regular basis. Would it have to be uploaded then moved over??
Right now they send me the database after any changes and I have to use
Publish to get it to the live server. Please does someone know a way I
can be removed from the update loop.
I believe there would be security problems involved in giving users direct
access to a database directory.
Have you considered creating a set of admin pages (using ASP, etc.) so
that they could update the database that way? That's how it's typically
done.
