Uploading Database file

Is there a way to allow a website user to upload a database file to a
website?

I know I can create pages to upload other files to the site using FP, but I
have need to allow a client to copy their database file up to a website on a
regular basis. Would it have to be uploaded then moved over??

Right now they send me the database after any changes and I have to use
Publish to get it to the live server. Please does someone know a way I can
be removed from the update loop.

TIA
