Hi Stefan -
I've got tweakui, but it's not set up for signon. I also peeked at the registry settings that are supposed to control whether a password is required, and one is set, the other not. I presume we're talking about Windows passwords. At this point, I'm not sure if I can set a password on my current user name, and I have NO idea what the top level admin is.
What's your reasoning on passwords and disaster? I just find it irksome to go through all that for a single user home machine.
Course if I never have to repair the 2002 extensions, it's all a moot point, I suppose.

FYI You can get the MS powertoy tweakui which will auto log you into Windows
IMHO running IIS & WinXp Pro w/ a strong password is flirting w/ disaster
