I have just completed my first web site, but have not loaded it on to a host
provider. There are two separate functions within one of the pages that I
need to have working before I go live:

1. Visitor presses button A to download a “White Paper” to read about new
software. If they like it,

2. Visitor fills out a registration form to join a beta program for new
software, when complete presses button B to send registration information
and activates a download of Beta version of a new software program.

My understanding is that I require a “ftp/cgi” script in order to make this
happen. One of the host providers suggested that I visit, “hotscripts.com”.

While the fees seem very reasonable, it can be expensive downloading one
after another in deciding which one I should be using. I am not certain
which one I should be looking at. Does anyone have a
recommendation/suggestion?
