Go here: http://www.x2studios.com/index.php?page=products&id=11
and download the free utility LiquidIcon XP ( has nothing to do with windows
XP )
and use it to convert your ico file to a genuine icon. It also has the
ability to combine 16x16 and 32x32 icons
into one ico file. ( like most icons are )

Then place the favicon.ico you create with it in the root of your web.
