frontpage publishing error

whenever i try to post to my internal web page with
frontpage, i'm getting an error that reads "A web does
not exist at 'http://xx.x.x.xxx' would you like frontpage
to create a web at that location?" the issue is, i
already have a web at that address and still can't
publish. after i click okay, i get errors asking if i
have the correct server extensions installed. I'm not
sure whats going on with it, i recently changed the name
of the computer but am not sure if that is causing the
problem or not. i reinstalled frontpage and IIS but that
was to no avail. if you have any kind of suggestions it
would be appreciated. thanks.
