Sharepoint is not a web page editor - it is a system of hosting documents and web pages for multi-user collaboration - not a means of editing web pages.
You will need FrontPage 2003 or MS Office SharePoint Designer to edit pages used on SharePoint.
For ordinary hosting you will need a web page editor, such as FrontPage or Expression Web. FrontPage was discontinued over a year ago and replaced by Expression Web.
A 60 day trial for Expression Web can be downloaded from
http://www.microsoft.com/expression/try-it/Default.aspx
You will also need the product key obtainable from the download page.
Forms will be a problem unless you find a host that supports the FrontPage extensions - every form requires a form handler, the extensions provide one method.
