Re: Server-extensions 2000

I am planning to upgrade the OS from w2k to w2k3. Whether Server extn:2000
will support w2k3?

Server extensions for the Windows version of Apache have never existed -
so cannot be sent to you by anyone.
Your options are:
1) Upgrade to Windows XP Pro
2) Use a disc based web for design and publish to and test on a server
with extensions installed
3) Use a disc based web for design, and use alternative methods for server
side functions, such as PHP, Perl/CGI, asp, asp.NET
4) Upgrade to a version of Vista that includes IIS7, and install FP
extensions from http://www.rtr.com/fpse/

I am also running a Windows XP Home edition platform with Apache
web-server
installed. I found the instructions on how to install the FP
server-extensions 2000 file onto an Apache server, on the Microsoft
web-site, but unfortunately the file itself cannot be downloaded from the
web-site as it is no longer supported by MS. If anyone who has the FP
server-extensions 2000 could send it to my e-mail address,
chakrapani.arjun@xxxxxxxxx as an attachment, I would be very grateful.
