The we80.cnf message may have occurred because Frontpage was still publishing
to “www.site.com” rather than “site.com”. The new Yahoo servers appear to
see “www.” as a subpage. It published to the site with the “www.” deleted.

file, Yahoo's servers are Unix.

If you are getting this error: "Server error: Cannot open 'we80.cnf':no
such file or folder" - your Frontpage extensions need to be
re-installed. Please submit a ticket asking to re-install your Frontpage
extensions. Make sure to have a backup copy of your website.

Common FrontPage Server Extensions Error Messages and Questions on UNIX

msg=Cannot open file "/usr/local/frontpage/we80.cnf" for reading.
osmsg=No such file or directory.
If the file we80.cnf, (or domain_name:port_number.cnf) does not exist in
the "/usr/local/frontpage" directory, re-install the FrontPage Server
Extensions for the domain in question.

If Yahoo say the file is not on their servers, then that is why the
program is having problems with it.

Latrice at Yahoo (Case #7015639) says we80.cnf is not on the yahoo servers.
They think it is on my computer. My search engine does not find it. What
next?

Ask Yahoo support to run a Server Health Check on the extensions and/or
investigate. we80.cnf is a configuration file on the server.
In my opinion, if the saveresults bot is not supported there is no need
to use the extensions at all. Not being able to send form results by
email is common, but this is the first time I have heard of all form
functionality being removed from the extensions.

FrontPage is "Unable to open 'http://www.danmartinmd.com'." on the updated
Yahoo servers. The error message is
"Server error: Server error: Cannot open "we80.cnf": no such file or folder."
I have reset the extensions at Yahoo, deinstalled and reinstalled the
extensions at Yahoo, and ran "Detect and Repair" on Front page.
I deleted all "webbot bot ="SaveResults" forms as Yahoo says they no lomger
support these.
What do I try next?
