I took the less tech route...I took about 1 1/2 hrs to just rebuild my page
content by copy and Paste from screen images and reloaded the entire site.
Works fine now. The main pages had nothing on them with exception of usual
header info and body tags. It was consistent for every main page in my site
w/borders. Anyway, thanks for the feedback. Everything is working now...for
now. :)

You don't need the FP SE for shared border to work correctly.
- but your pages must be valid html
- your main pages may have broken html tables or tags preventing them from being displayed
(validate you local site pages)
If you FTP, you must FTP all files/folder including the _hidden _borders folder

| I have lost my page content within FP2000. Any page with borders (virtually
| all of them) will not display the page content just the borders within FP
| app. All pages display fine through the browser previews or live off the
| server. I have done two "Detect and Repair" efforts and have removed and
| reinstalled FP completely. I have used software to fix any registry errors,
| defragged the hard drive, re-installed FPSE on server. I tend to think I have
| either a corrupted file or a bad registry file but just have no idea.
|
| Other background: I had uninstalled FPSE on server to allow me to create
| custom folders for a classified ad system. Website seemed to run fine for a
| couple of months and just 2 days ago I discovered my page content is not
| showing within the app when I went in to make some adjustments on a couple of
| pages. I have opened files from the website (server) and FP acts the same
| way...no page content with exception of borders.
|
| In recent weeks I had downloaded a trial version of an AllWebMenu app and
| installed a special FP menu add-in. I have totally removed that piece of
| software from my computer anticipating that it might have given me the error
| problem.
|
| I do have an Acemenu javascript menu system which works perfect on my
| non-borders intro (index.htm) page, but it will not display submenus on
| borders pages. I think this is a problem separate from this issue but wanted
| to let you know as much as possible re: issue.
|
| I realize running with borders without the FPSE installed was tempting fate.
| Without the FPSE installed I could not upload from within FP so I was FTP'ing
| instead. I also realize, especially now, that certain file parameters, etc.
| were not getting updated, however, I have no idea what I have done to myself.
|
| any help is appreciated.
