RE: How do I access FP Server Administrator?

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I did clear cache and tried again. Same error message: Could not find a Web
Server at www.mywebsite.com on port 80. Please make sure that the web server
name is valid and your proxy settings are set correctly.
The site name is correct and I have not changed the proxy settings. I found
one suggested fix to change the proxy setting to 8080 but I do not find a
place to do that.

So it sounds like FPSE are working but the laptop that was used is causing
some problems then? Have you tried cleaning everything out (clearing the
cache, etc
(http://www.loudexpressions.com/2007/10/frontpage-is-running-slow))?

Unfortunately, I have never used Publisher before because of the bloated
HTML code that is created so I am not certain what changes it made to your
system

I have hosting through a company that has FPSE. I have gone to the panel and
reset SE. I can update the FP site on the desktop computer but not on the
laptop which I used to publish with Publisher.

What error message are you getting?

Are you using a hosting company? If so, does that hosting company have a
control panel to check FPSE? or are you hosting yourself? If you are
hosting yourself, are you on *NIX / IIS?

http://www.loudexpressions.com/2007/10/frontpage-form-errors offers a few
ways to check FPSE

I normally use FP2003 but recently published a site using Publisher. Now I
am unable to publish with FP because of Port 80. Can this be resolved and
allow me to use both programs from the same computer?
