FPSE Server Administrator Issues

Hi folks,

I noticed that this question has been asked before, but with no real
definitive answer given to date.

The issue I am having, which is similar/same as other people here, is that
on the local Web Server (whether logged on locally or through TS), when
Server Administrator is ran, I can successfully log in to the Server
Administrator page using the local Admin credentials. However, if I click
on any of the sites to load their respective Admin page and use the same
admin credentials to login, it won't let me log in and gives me an error
stating that "You are not authorized....". I have been told that the local
admin account was able to login to all site admin pages up until a week ago.

Here's the kicker....

If I open the browser on my local machine and access the FPSE Server
Administrator via the network and IP (not local to the server or through
TS), I am able to load any and all Admin pages for the sites on the
webserver using the local webserver Admin account. Very weird. So
obviously, this is local to the server itself. But why would I not be able
to access the Admin pages on the server itself using the Admin account, but
through a web session I can login fine? You would think that if this is
permissions related, it would affect any method of logging in, would it not?

In any case, if anyone can lend their expertise on this matter, I would be
ever so greatful. This is our main Government webserver and is of a high
priority. I figured I would check here first before calling MS and spending
uber dollars! ;-)

Thanks folks!
