Is this the place to ask about getting FPSE installed correctly on a
W2003/IIS 6(?) webserver? Or should I be trying:
microsoft.public.inetserver.iis?
My problem is I am the only FP user on a very small web hosting company. He
had to upgrade from W2k/IIS5.0 after someone attacked him with a web/root
bot that royally screwed up the webhost system.
I can get arround some of the problems of not being able to connect and
upload using http by using the same physical structure that is present on
the HD of the host. But there are many features of FPSE that it would be
nice to be able to use include the index service.....
Is there a really good script/tutorial for installing FPSE from scratch?
There are clearly security issues. He can't authenticate into the website
from the local systems, I can't remotely.
Thanks,
