Re: Check In not working

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I found this KB article, which seems to be related to permissions of the
anonymous user being the culprit... going to try this and see if it works

I finally started signing in as domain/username. When I put the domain name
in that format it works. I tried this because under last modified, it
always
had my doemain name/username listed instead of just my username. I haad
always logged on with just username before I turned souce control on. I
hope
this will help someone else.

I solved my own problem.

It has something to do with directory security in IIS. I used the basic
authentication method and it now works. This is not a recommended
security
method, but it's the only way to get things to work properly.

I have the same problem, and have had it in the past... everything
works
fine, then for some reason, this starts happening. I have never been
able to
find a solution, except for reinstalling Windows out of desperation :(
