Ronx - Thank you for your prompt reply. On my server I created a new site by
going to Properties and new site, becuase I wanted to create a subdomain with
an abolute name such as http://subdomain.domain.com. I have do not have an
problem if I convert a folder to web.
In front page when I go to File > Openweb I do see the "subdomain.domain.com
however that is when I get the message about server extensions not being
installed.
Hope I was able to clarify my problem without creating any confusion. Hope
to hear from you.

Is the subdomain a folder in the website, or on a separate (virtual).
server?
If it's a folder, open the root web in FrontPage, right click on the
folder and choose "Convert to web"
Then open the subweb (not subdomain) in FrontPage. All links to and
from the subdomain and rootweb must be absolute links
(http://subdomain.example.com, or http://example.com)
If the subdomain is on a separate server, then install the extensions
on that server.

I am running IIS 5 on my webserver. I have server extensions
installed on the
webserver and everything works fine like a charm including forms and
their
submissions. For framing this question lets say my url is
http://frontpage.com
I created as subdomain ( http://help.frontpage.com) which has a form
in it.
I am facing the following problems.
1. When I try to open the subdomain via frontpage ( ver 2002) from
my
desktop I get the message with a pop up window in frontpage
"The webserver at http://help.frontpage.com does not appear to have
the
frontpage server extensions installed.
2. I tired installing the extensions on the subdomain on server.
Could anyone help with this problem?
Thanks y'all
