You may have a unix server that does not fully implement some of the
server extension. However, it should not return the message not
installed. I had a problem two different times. Once they said they
were installed and I finally talked them into installing into my
account and things worked fine until one day they stopped working and
after a time the ISP informed me they were installed and just
corrupted.

I was on an older windows server and did not have a unix based host so
I should not have had problems like these. I found out also that the
new accounts were getting onto an upgraded windows pro server that had
a entry in control panel that I personally turn on and off extensions.
Things have worked like a charm now that I have requested and finally
got transferred the new server. I use iPowerweb and they have a
choice of window or unix based server.
