That all sounds good, except for the part about loading IIS from the
CD. Every time I attempt to load IIS on the New Dell Win 2000 PC, I
get a popup asking for Service Pack 4 Disk?? These Dell's where
imaged over a network all at once, over a hundred of them to replace
our old Compaqs. So none of them have a CD , I was attempting to use
my copy of Windows 2000 Pro upgrade but I think it does not have the
files? Am I right.
So I attempted to load IIS 4.0 from the original Windows NT 4.0 CD and
it will not load because the PC is a Windows 2000 machine.
Am I stuck without a paddle? I need this done or management will be
very unhappy, oh by the way we are a state agency and there are no
funds to purchase new software-NONE WHAT EVER.
