Hi Shawn,

Try the following and let me know the results:

1. browse to http://myfpseconfiguredserver/_vti_bin/_vti_adm/fpadmdll.dll
2. goto command prompt, change to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft
Shared\web server extensions\50\bin
and run "owsadm -o check -p 80" [NOTE: This will reset permissions that
would have been manually set on the NTFS partition].

Regards,
Vijay

|
| Hi Vijay, thanks so much for getting back to me.
|
| If I disable the Friendly Error Messages and simply click on the "Upgrade
| Server Extensions," I get back the error message: "Cannot find server or
DNS
| Error"
|
| If I change the url from "http://(machine name):4424/fpadmdll.dll(etc)" to
| "http://(server ip addy):4424/fpadmdll.dll(etc)", the User/Pass login pops
| up, and when I input the admin id/pass, the page just loads and loads and
| doesn't do anything - I gave it 10 full minutes, but nothing loaded.
|
| Again, let me know whatever information I can provide. Any and all help is
| appreciated.
| Thanks,
| Shawn
