Index Server

Regarding my Search Service Not Running post: Thank you for pointing me to
the Index Server. It is now working, but I renamed some pages and my search
returns both the old and new pages. Of course the links to the old pages
which no longer exist produce an error. I removed the search component per
my host's suggestion, recalculated the links and reinstalled the Search
component. Search still returns old and new pages. What and where is the
"catalog?" Could this be my problem?
