Thanks for the reply Stefan but that doesn't answer my query. Whenever I try
to access my website using my work PC I get a warning message stating that
ActiveX has been disabled and that the website will not be displayed fully
(or words to that effect).

When the page displays the only thing missing is the banner ad ! Ergo banner
ads are not displayed when ActiveX is not activated.

Being a work PC I cannot amend the settings and my worry is that someone (ie
a potential customer) will view my website, not have ActiveX activated and
therefore not see the banner ad.

My real query is whether there is a script available to detect if the user
has ActiveX controls restricted on their PC and, if they do, display an
alternative.
