The root web normally does not have write permissions
Move join.txt (it must exist) to the _private folder (which by default has write permissions) and change your form properties to
point to the new location for it
- also check w/ your host if they allow emails to be sent by the server to addresses outside of the domain
For your search form open your online site in FP, open the search page and check the properties, then save it and run a tools
recalculate hyperlink to see if FP will rebuild the catalog
