Missing Images

During the last couple weeks, selected images on my web sites have begun to
disppear from the internet. I can see them just fine in Front Page, and have
re-uploaded them to the web even using an FTP program. The strangest thing is
that when the source code is viewed, there is nothing but white space where
the image code is supposed to appear. It's not the same as a missing image,
where the boxed red x appears. Also, normally, when there is a broken image
which is linked, you can still see the little hand pointing to that spot. In
this case, there is nothing. It happens in both IE & Netscape, and it's not
only my sites, but another associates. They are hosted on different servers
by different providers. And some of the pages it has happened to have not had
changes made to them. In other words, they were fine one day, and now they
are defective even though they haven't been changed in any way. I am
desperate for assistance!!!
