1. The hit counter requires the FP extensions. Under Windows XP Home you have no support for any MS
web server nor the ability to install the FP extensions.
2. FP extensions are available for Apache running under Unix or Linux OSs.
3. As far a setting passwords, the is issue you will have to deal with via an Apache newsgroup, as
it is not related to FP.
If you really want to use the extensions locally, you need to upgrade to Windows XP Pro and install
IIS and the FP extensions.
