I bet your site uses Navigation View and Link Bars, and
that you retrieved a new copy of it for editing.

If the remote site has the FP Server Extensions
installed, be sure to open the remote site directly in
FrontPage, and then publish it to your local editing
location. If you try to "Import" the site, you'll lose
data.

If the remote site doesn't have the FP Server Extensions
installed, make sure that you retrieve *all* the files,
then open the receiving location via Open Web, then
choose Recalculate Hyperlinks from the Tools menu.
However, if the person who previously maintained the site
didn't publish the system files that record the
Navigation View diagram, you may have to rebuild that
diagram.
