I'd bet $50 you're (or your host) is using a HELM control panel!

I've recently started using one on a couple of sites. This weird thing with
the helm(or so I'm surmising) sometimes has added these oddball user names
to my messenger/ passport log in list!

Are you able to re-type your user name and password and get in or are you
unable to get into the site.

I would either go in through the Helm (if you're using it) and re-set the
FrontPage password. then try to log-in and hope for the best.

HTH
