Hi all...

I encountered a similar problem yesterday. I discovered
that I needed to:

-- Open the website from the remote (published) location,
-- Open the page containing the form,
-- Right-click, choose Form Properties,
-- Set email options as needed.
-- Save the page,
-- Close the website.

I'd been developing my website on my local hard drive,
and then publishing changed files to the remote location,
and seeing nonfunctional email forms.

The lesson of the last few days for me has been that FP2003
doesn't seem to handle this method very well--I would expect
details like forms email and file uploading to get arbitrated when
the website is published to the remote location. Instead,
it seems that there's some mysterious handshaking
between the page containing the form and the
remote website infrastructure, that occurs only when
you're editing pages that are resident at the remote location.

I'm wanting to learn more about these peculiarities, but am
unsure of the etiquette for bending the thread, so will start
a new topic.

Regards,
MVSmith
