You need to first of all set permissions to stop any person from accessing
your web and changing anything. Suggest you head into an IIS newsgroup
right now. But, for the time being, do not allow access to your computer
from outside traffic until you get it fixed.

| Hi Gents,
|
| Thank you for your notes. I do appreciate the help. I'm running IIS on
one of my own PCs, not relying on my ISP, to enable access to video cams
(once I complete fixing this darn system). So, in terms of an incompetant
host, I do not take offence, as I am somewhat fumbling around trying to
figure this out. For troubleshooting, I'm eliminating variables - in this
case my ZoneAlarm firewall - it has been off. I've restarted it. Let me
know if you are still able to modify any of the pages now. As for malicious
code, that's crossed my mind but since I've reformatted the dang HD,
reloaded the OS & all the programs, if there was such code, it should have
not returned. Yet I'm getting the same problem now as I was prior to
reformatting. The routings in the Linksys router seem fine. Other
application-embedded servers aseem to be properly routed. It's this IIS &
FP solution that is problematic. BTW, the images that appear all over are
the standard set up with using the wizard in FP to create a personal
website. In any case, if you look at my initial call for help at the
beginning of this thread, any direction you could offer as to how to fix
this would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks. John.
