I'm curious as to why you would do that? Why put them in html pages on your
own local machine?

What you wrote on your Web-page, I fiddled for years!
But Plug-In or Windows Media Player never worked.

I'm not talking about publishing to a web, but showing
the movies in HTML-pages on my own PC.
