On your local PC Find and delete all web cache files (*.web)
- Usually in the folder (paste/type below in your Windows Explorer address bar)
%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Web Server Extensions\Cache
Then open your remote site in FP and make a change in Nav view and run a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks (this should force a new nav
structure meta file in your online web)
Next Select File Publish (changed pages only)
- you should get a prompt about nav changes - select the replace (middle) option

| I feel that all of you well intentioned "advisors" are leading me into an
| ever ending circle. I have submitted an extremely detailed description of my
| problem. If you have seriously viewed and read the description , you will
| note that some of your questions reflect your lack of same.
|
| IN CONCLUSION: I have no problem connecting with my remote web site , as
| described earlier. I have no problem executing a downloading of my remote
| web site to my local computer folder. The progress box indicates the
| downloading of all my .html files; overlays; themes; images ;multimedia are
| successful . Then the "Processing Web Updates " begins and after several
| minutes , the processing stops and "The Error Message" appears. The process
| is 75 % complete , what is lacking , is the downloading of the Navigational
| Structure. PLEASE FOCUS ON THIS . Why is the Nav. Structure omitted. at the
| 75 % stage of processing.????? Come to the point.
