Thanks for the response, Thomas. I don't quite understand your reply to #2.
I want the default page to be default.asp, but FrontPage won't allow me to,
without renaming the extension to .htm, anyway. I'm not sure why. It's
really not that big of a deal, as all my links to the forum from the main
site will be linked to the default.asp page, but there are auto-reply e-mail
elements programmed in the forum subweb that generate links in the e-mails
to the "default" page in the forum, and it won't allow me to change it from
default.htm to default.asp, so that's why I created the default.htm page
with the JavaScript redirect to default.asp. Regarding the cluster size
issue of the .mdb file, I thought that as well, but 100KB is a big
difference, and I renamed the local copy and publish it to the live site,
and the 100KB difference in size remained on the live site, so that's
definitely a concern, if I'm planning on ever having to clean up the
database in Access locally then republish.
