perhaps it's on an "include page" or it's an anchor for a hyperlink, but I'm
not sure that can be done.
IMHO
the best way to use a "contents" page is to make it, visit it with your
browser, view the source, copy all the stuff that makes up the list (it's
easy if you put something obvious above and below the component like;
*********) now with the list copied to your clip board go back to FrontPage
highlight/ select the component (toc component) and hit control-v. this
will paste a "hard coded" version of your contents into the page and delete
the "component". Now you can edit the list like you could any "normal" page
element.
It may seem like a lot of work but it's really just about a 30 second
operation.
