Thanks for the response post, Chris.
I'm running Win98SE and FP2000 on a server with FP2000 extensions.
My brothers all have WinXP pro and I love it. I bought a copy and
would like to upgrade my PC from Win98SE to WinXP Pro. The only
time I tried to do this, I had immediate problems with FP2000 updating
my FP2000 generated parish web. I wiped everything out and went
back to Win98SE until I could get time to work on a new system.
I'm ready to try again.
Do you know if I need to do anything to the server extensions and/or
my PC based web source to make it work successfully with WinXP
Pro? Do you know if need to get any type of Server upgrade done
just to upgrade my PC to WinXP pro. If this all works, then I want to
put on the current version of FP .... 2003. Is there anyplace you
know where documentation exists as to what I have to ask the Server
site to change or what I have to change on my PC to continue support
for my FP2000 generated web site following the upgrade to FP2003?
I would welcome anyone's feedback who cared to take the time to
make a post. Thank you to all.
