on a hosted server its usually not poissble because that means ntfs
permissions and nt user accounts.. etc etc
things the hosting compnay does not want every customer doing
if your server supports asp ypu can design a system with its own user
database and then protect pages and files through scripting.
www.aspprotect.com is one such system
