You're right. A lot of people figure that if they don't download music or go
to porn sites, they'll never get a virus. I even had one woman ask me how I
knew that Norton Antivirus wasn't infecting her system. She was
ultra-paranoid! I'm afraid I kind of ticked her off when I politely asked
her if she was so afraid of getting viruses, then why was she buying a
computer. She never did respond.
I do the best I can to educate my peers. I deal with women who have limited
computer experience. They're doing rather well. I've even been teaching them
about using PrimoPDF to share their files. :-)
