I for one still don't really understand what you're trying to do or where
your problem lies. If you could be more concise in what you're doing...?
_But_ (if I do understand) before you append to the child table, how about
storing these details in variables or a cursor. Then if the user hits "SAVE"
you append to the table in question. If the user hits "CANCEL" you simple
wipe the variables/cursor?
