Should have no effect. The VFP ODBC driver was not part of MDAC 2.7 or 2.8.
I'm pretty sure MDAC 2.5 was the last version to have the VFP ODBC driver.

I got dell to check the hardware - the drive, processor and memory. I
think it is the ODBC driver (MDAC2.7/MDAC2.8) that is having a problem
working with VFP6 SP5. Since I have MDAC 2.6 on my other computer, and
the same program runs fine, is there a way to reinstall an older
version of MDAC (2.6) instead of MDAC 2.8?
