    Since VFP 5.0, 6.0, and 7.0 do not natively view TIF files, you need to
    search for an ActiveX control to display the TIF file.

    Visual FoxPro 8.0 has the capability to display TIF files without using a
    third-party control.

    I did a quick search on Universalthread and found a few tools that handle
    TIF images. Go to www.universalthread.com, click on the Download icon, and
    choose Visual FoxPro as the product. In the Summary text box of the query
    page, search for "TIF.
