It could be an anti-virus program running on Vista that's not on the XP
machine. An .SCT file can also be a script file (not just a VFP form memo
file) which some anti-virus programs could prevent from running or change in
some manner.

What would cause a .SCT file to be corrupt in VFP9 SP2 when it is opened
in Vista SP1 but not when opened in Windows XP SP3?
The form has some code to create/manipulate an Excel file using the
CREATEOBJECT('Excel.Application') command. Would this have anything to do
with it?
The message I get when I try to open the .SCX file is Memo File
myfilename.sct is missing or is invalid.
