Rush,
Thanks for the info. I do not have a client but have a p to p network at the
office that I get into using gotomypc. I looked into UltraVNC as you
suggested but as you say I need a client. If I use the PROMPT every time I
run a report it sure would slow down my local reports I have some reports
that have 6 pages and in order to run them I just call one after the other.
Using the PROMPT I would have to keep selecting the printer. I wonder if the
prompt could be a variable field that I could set up when I run remotely. Is
there a way of doing that??

I haven't tried gotomypc.com, but I do use UltraVNC (http://www.uvnc.com/)
for remote control, and I've been very pleased with it. You do need to
install a client, so you lose a bit of the universality of gotomypc.com.
OTOH, it's entirely free.
For a printer prompt, add the PROMPT option to the REPORT command.

Has anyone used GOTOMYPC.com to run a VFP8 file remotely?? I have a need
to access the VFP program from my home site to a server and use my local
home printer. Now I can use Word and Excel remotely and print all those
file but when I try and run a FoxPro report I just get printer error
cancel, ignore, and help. And of course the help is no help.
I do notice that when I print from Word or Excel a question pops up
asking to select a printer. Is there such a thing in FoxPro?? just tries
to print without the question of which printer to use.
Thanks for any help.
