hi everybody !

I don't have find this problem, but another one more incredibely !:

When i navigate into my grid ( attach directly to a dbf file ), with keybord or moving cursor with scrollbar, a hard message is printed at the top-left of the form, like someone has include a command like this ( ? "XXXXXXX" ).

I'm sure that i don't have include that command, and i don't know why that happens !
Does some one have find this problem too ?

Finally, i prefer user Flexgrid, that increase speed in scrolling, and totaly without bug ! But don't have possibility to modify datas...

I forgot to mention that I can now use the colors so that each row alternates which I could not do when I used the filter as the row records are not all alternating even and odds. Gives you a much better grid to look at.

I stopped using the filter on my grids. I now scan the database for what I want and put it into a cursor which the grid looks at. Have not had a problem since.

I seem to have a lot of grid refresh problems in all the VFP versions I have used. I was hoping VFP 9 would resolve these but I am still having the issue. It happens very randomly so I don't believe there is anything in my code. I have a grid linked to a VFP table which is filtered via SET KEY to . I have made sure to send the grid.refresh() command after any change to my file to refresh the grid. 90% of the time, the grid will update - 10% it will be completely blank. I even added a command button with the code 'this.parent.grid.refresh()' to see what would happen - about 4-5% of the time, the grid will show when I click on this button but otherwise it remains blank.

Have other users come across this same issue? How does one create reliable, marketable applications in VFP when the platform appears so flaky in terms of basic issues like screen refresh?
