Hi WimAlso remember that VFP9 SP2 is not released yet, but is a CTP (Community Technology Preview) which is just for people to get an early look at what is coming, and it is NOT stable or appropriate for production use.
It may be a corrupt table, memo fields or Index
- if these were copied to the new system something may have got messed up in the transfer.
I you have a virus scanner on your new system, check that you are not scanning the vfp data files each time they are accessed
Turn off write behind caching on the drive with your data files. (I'm not sure how you do this in vista - you may need to do some research)
Have a read of KB264867
Best of luck

i'm using VFP 9.0 SP2 and also having trouble!
I can't find the problem! I crash often with a C0000005 error.
Everytime the LOG says Error on Line 0 in .....
i think it a kind of timing problem or internal pointer problem (to existing
objects)
probably something like orphaning these objects???
This program works fine under XP!
suggestion are welcome!
thanks all
