Re: VFP8 and Novell - Keeps losing my form!!!

Yikes.
1. how much temp space is allocated on the Novell Server for deleted files?
2. When's the last time you guys did a 'deleted file cleanup' ?
3. watch the file i/o for your workstation at the novell file server as yer
doing a save for the form. The behavior is not what you expect, is it?
4. It could be your user space is set to an allocation and somehow you are
going past the allocation when a save op is performed. Rare, but I've seen
it.

Ok, this is getting to be a REAL hassle now.

I'm using VFP8 on Win2k and Novell 3.22. I'm working on a form that has a
lot of controls on it(fields mostly) and I'm going through changing the
names of the forms. I've been saving after each row of fields(20 rows, 12
fields per) because it started bombing on me yesterday and losing my work.

Well now, it not only loses my changes, it loses the form itself! Gives
me
an invalid filename error, then a fatal exception error... then the form
is
gone, completely. Won't even let me save it back to my C drive at that
point.

So, most of an entire morning's worth of work has been wasted... and I'm
the
one who bragged up VFP and forced my boss to go with it...

HELP!!!???
