Will they always be large filenames like that? That could be what's causing
the problem more than anything. Novell 3.22 doesn't have long name support
loaded and only accepts names in 8.3 format.
In case this is the problem, can I change the default temp folder for the
forms?

If you lose a form, you can get it back by looking for the temporary
files in the same directory as the form. Look for two files names
something like A5G678HJ1.TMP. Rename the larger of the two files to
[formname].SCT and the smaller size file to [formname].SCX. At that
point the forms should be okay.
