Gene, i did that as well. they just didnt want to see the "/". for what
ever
reason. i talked to them about it and explained it. but no luck.
this works, its ok, just a lot more work. and IMHO makes the system a
little
less stable.
How about date field and
SET MARK TO ' '
probably no good because they don't want spaces there either.
Don't know whether SET MARK TO '' works in VFP, in FPW it just uses the
default separator.
