View Q.

I am learning about views while strategizing my next project. In the past,
I have had two tables for unbilled and billed transactions, but I want to
have a single table for all the billing transactions. The difference
between the two types (unbilled and billed) is that billed transactions have
a billed date and invoice number.
How in a view, do I separate the two? Is it a filter in the view?
Another question regarding this same table, how on the entry form for new
unbilled transactions do you handle how many records the user sees when
keying entries? Do they see only see the records to what the initial Find
form retrieves?
Do most of you use a different view per form?
Please forgive me, this is uncharted water to me.
As always -
Respectfully,
Jonathan Morningstar
