I ran into an interface oddity today.
I occasionally use edit to view data when there is only one
record that I want to look at. I used edit, then did another select
(not to a cursor, etc.). The results of the select were in edit
format. I closed that window, used browse and got results in browse
format.
Is there a setting to adjust for this, or am I stuck with the
last format used is what I will see the next select in?
It looked as if SELECT's PREFERENCE phrase might be relevant, but
it seems to be about opposite of what I want.
Sincerely,
