         Bah for two reasons which possibly do not apply to you, but they
    might.

      1) Versions 9 and 8 (and 7 and 6 and 5) are not that different. If
    you really need a 9 feature, then yes, hold off, but if not, go with
    8. Code written for 8 will run in 9, too.

      2) Is this a mission-critical app? If so, it would be folly to run
    it on a beta or a recent release.
